Getting spammers out of the inbox | Forum

This is for the mods but I expect everyone will be interested in the answer. With the handful of scammer spammer types that have popped up and contacted us with their ludicrously transparent overtures and the fortunate quick banning of those profiles, it leaves a few emails... even to the extent of showing unread messages from these accounts that will not go away. How do we get rid of these things?
